USB for Remote Desktop is an application for redirecting USB devices to your remote session. It redirects any USB devices to remote desktop environments over RDP or ICA protocols. The remote server handles redirected USB peripherals as if they were directly plugged into the remote side.
The program consists of Server and Workstation parts.
The Server part is installed on the remote side. Any hardware computer or a virtual machine can serve as a remote side. USB for Remote Desktop Server makes redirected USB devices available for logged in user. The Workstation part is installed on the local computer. It allows redirecting local USB devices to your remote session over RDP or ICA protocols. As soon as you redirect a USB device, it becomes visible in your remote session. Now every time when you login to your remote session you are welcome to use local USB devices.
